NatureBridge Wedding | Olympic National Park, WA | Anna + Jon

May 13, 2020

This NatureBridge wedding was something else. Anna and Jon booked me over a year before this day, before meeting me, while living in a completely different state. I always feel kinda giddy when I receive initial inquiries like theirs. To know that someone is interested in booking just based off my work alone is always a compliment.

I remember our first FaceTime meeting. I was slightly intimated to be chatting it up with two doctors, but my nerves quickly dissipated because these two are as warm and as friendly as can be. I had also seen images of NatureBridge online before, loving its summer camp vibes and endless greenery, and felt excited to explore a new venue.

When I arrived to NatureBridge I was blown away by its beauty. The photos online don’t even do it justice. You are surrounded by the dense Olympic National Forest with access to Lake Crescent. Also, guest can sleep on site, allowing the wedding celebrations to be extended to multiple days. And you don’t have to look long and hard to see a deer or two.

On this day, friends and family were kind; many approached me, asking me where I was from and how long I had been photographing weddings. I left feeling energized and refreshed, another wedding reaffirming that I am in the right career and attracting like-minded humans.

Sending Anna and Jon (and their amazing families) lots of love and happiness in the next chapter of their lives together.
