The Griffin House is easily becoming my home away from home. Sweeping views on the Columbia Gorge, intentional decor in the getting ready suite, and a grand tent to support all sized weddings. Juliet & Fritz's day was captured on a mix of digital, medium format film, and 35mm film.
This Arch Cape elopement made me realize how much I enjoy the intimacy of a small celebration. The root of why we get married is to honor what two people have found in one another. A sentiment that may seem simple, but one that carries great depth.
A fashion forward elopement, with Catherine rocking a Cawley Studio dress and Hereu loafers. These two eloped at Mt. Tabor and their sun drenched portraits captured on 35mm film are still on my mind almost a year later.
The color and direct sunlight at Nate & Becky's spring wedding at The Orchard set my creative heart on fire. I love how people are embracing color more in 2024 and color on 35mm film is unmatched. I'll dream about this day for awhile.
Luke and Reign's Mt Shasta wedding is coming soon...
Not sure why there isn't more hype around winter weddings. I love the challenge of using direct flash and the available ambient light and that is exactly what I did at this MV Skansonia wedding in Seattle. It poured the entire day, but the venue itself provided a cozy hideout for M + B and their guests.
